One Direction Dublin 2015

One Direction have announced their UK & Ireland tour dates and will play the 3 Arena in Dublin on 16th and 17th October 2015. It has been much anticipated and the news has finally broken the world famous boy band will return to Dublin in 2015 for what will most certainly be a couple of sell out shows. the dates form part of the On the Road Again Tour.

Following sell out shows in Croke Park in 2014 the band return to Dublin to perform hits from their new album Four along with hits such as What Makes You Beautiful, Story of My Life and Best Song Ever. Irish fans will get to see Niall Horan perform in the magnificent 3 Arena Dublin with band members Harry, Zayn, Louis and Liam.

The Script to play Croke Park 2015

The Script will take to the stage in Croke Park on 20th June 2015. Following an announcement at Croke Park the Irish band were unveiled as the first of next years major concerts.

The Script will be performing hits such as songs such as “Hall of Fame”, “Break Even”, and tracks from their latest album “No Sound Without Silence”. They will be supported by Pharrell.

Ladies Gaelic Finals Take Centre Stage in Dublin

Ladies GAA Finals Weekend Kicks Off in Dublin

The 41st TG4 All Ireland Finals will take place at Croke Park on Sunday, September 28th, with three matches taking place during an action packed day.

The All Ireland Junior Final will take place first with throw in at 11:45 as Wexford return to the All Ireland Final to take a New York team travelling to Dublin for the finals.

The Intermediate final is going to be an All-Ulster encounter with supporters travelling from Northern Ireland as Down and Fermanagh meet for the fourth time this year.

The TG4 Senior All Ireland final features a hugely successful Cork team who have won every All Ireland  since 2005 except for 2010 when Dublin were victors.

With over 25,000 supporters expected to make the trip to Croke Park it promises to be an exciting days action. For those travelling early to the matches, The Brasserie Restaurant at Bewleys Leopardstown, Bewleys Newlands Cross, Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge and Bewleys Dublin Airport are open for Breakfast.

All Ireland Football Final Kerry V's Donegal 2014

Kerry V’s Donegal, the bets are on who will be crowned champions of Ireland 2014.
This will be a very tough match as both were underdogs in there semi finals this year. Kerry proved that no matter how young of a team they have that football is in their blood and that they will fight tooth and nail to come out the better team in each and all of their matches and will show up on final day with one hand already on the Sam. Donegal still have the feeling in their bones of winning such a prestigious title and they will not let Kerry attach past their very solid defense. With one of the biggest shocks in this year All Ireland Championships, beating what was thought as the unstoppable team of 2014 Dublin. Donegal are full of confidence heading into the final and know that if they keep fighting for procession and stay calm that their almighty forwards will do what they do best. 
This will be the First time Kerry and Donegal have every met in an All Ireland Final, but Kerry fell short of the win against the 2012 Champions when they met in the quarter final stage of the 2012 All Ireland Championships.  Kerry will be out to prove that although they haven’t lifted the Sam since 2009 that they are a force to be reckoned with and that they have put the last few years behind them and are ready for what will be a final that is not to be missed.

GAA - The fight for glory continues

The fight for glory continues!!

2014 is a year of great excitement for our national sport. We are gaining global recognition for our Gaelic games now that the matches can be viewed on Sky TV. This sports is now been recognised for it’s  great skill and entertainment throughout the globe. As our sport grows so does our passion and this has been expressed in the quality of skill and determination of all teams involved for this year’s All Ireland Finals.

We can now look forward to a thrilling weekend of semi final action in the GAA All Ireland Senior Championship. On Saturday 30th August the replay of last weekend’s clash between the very strong Kerry and the ever determined Mayo will take place in Limerick. This will be a game not too be missed weather in front of the TV or on the side of the pitch, both teams will be back to full strength with 15 men on the pitch for the Kick off. Mayo fought very hard last weekend to come back and level the score and take a small lead near the end of the game but unfortunately Kerry took advantage of a few tired legs as Mayo played the majority of the game a man down.

In Croke Park we will also be treated to fine display of football on Sunday 31st of August with Dublin taking on Donegal. This semi final can only bring back memories of the 2011 semi final clash of these two teams with Dublin securing a marginal win over Donegal of just 2 points. Dublin will show why they are considered one of the favourites as they continue to play their aggressive attacking game but they will be up against the very strong blanket defensive of Donegal. Two very different styles of Football and a match that should not be missed.
