One Young World Summit 2014 - Dublin

 

Dublin is delighted to be hosting the One Young World Summit 2014.
The annual event brings together over 1,500 delegates, aged between 18 and 30, and Counsellors who have previously included Kofi Annan, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Muhammad Yunus, Jack Dorsey, Bob Geldof, Jamie Oliver, former US President Bill Clinton and leading CEO’s including Unilever’s Paul Polman and Barclays’ Antony Jenkins.

The Summit provides a unique opportunity for the opinions of the world’s young leaders and creates a challenging global network, which in return, assists positive change on a global basis.
The 2014 Summit is scheduled for October 2014 and will bring approx. 2,000 people to Dublin.

Michael Bublé Leeds 2014

Michael Bublé will be playing in The First Direct Arena Leeds on the 8th and 9th December 2014. The 'not to be missed show' kicks off at 7.30pm. Michael will be singing all his classic songs and also introducing his newly released album “To be loved”. Michael has commented that he feels this is his best album to date  Quote from Michael “I think it’s the best album I’ve ever made…I know every artist on earth says that when their new album is coming out but really - this time it’s true. I swear. You can ask my mother.”

Ed Sheeran will be hitting up the 02 arena in Dublin this year. He will be performing his all time favourite songs such as “Give me Love”, “ Kiss me”, and “Lego House” on Saturday the 4^th, Sunday the 5^th and Monday the 6^th of October 2014. 

Bewleys Hotels are happy to announce that we have teamed up with Executive Express which offers a shuttle bus service to concerts including Ed Sheeran.

The bus will leave Bewleys Hotel Leopardstown at 6:10pm and will then leave Bewleys Ballsbridge at 6:30pm. It will arrive at the 02 at 7pm approx.

The 02 departure time is 20minutes after the last song. The shuttle service costs €10 return.

The Mrs. Carter Show - World Tour 2014

So the time has come! Queen Beyoncé is here and she is starting her Dublin Tour tomorrow!

As always this is expected, or should we say guaranteed to be an excellent event.  She kicks off at approx 8.30pm until late.

Ireland V Serbia International Friendly at the Aviva Stadium March 5th 2014

The Republic of Ireland takes on Serbia this coming Wednesday March 5th in a 3 international friendly at the Aviva Stadium. In only their 3rd game in charge of the international set up manager Martin O’Neill and his number two Roy Keane look to build on an impressive start with a draw against Poland and a three nil win over Latvia.

Ireland’s players have been performing well with their clubs since the last international break; most notably Seamus Coleman has become an integral part of Everton’s challenge for Champions League football next season. Shane Long has made a permanent move from West Bromwich Albion to Hull City FC and it will be interesting to see if this move will improve on the strikers recent run of good from.   There will be a wealth of big name players on display for both Ireland and Serbia with Nemanja Vidić of Manchester United and Aleksandar Kolarov of Manchester City set to make the trip to the Aviva for Serbia.

This game is shaping up to be a competitive contest and nothing beats an evening cheering on the boys in green at the Aviva.
